Exclusive line of luxury jewelry
by Brehan Todd for Eco1st Art.com
Aviary at Dawn Necklace by Brehan Todd-$1500.00
I am so excited to announce the launch of my exclusive line of one of a kind, luxury jewelry! The line is specially designed  for Eco1start.com, a brand new online, eco marketplace.  I was invited to participate this Spring by Janeen Swing, a well known interior designer in California, who has worked all over the world. She started the project in order to help provide "green" solutions for decorating and lifestyle for her conscious clients, while helping provide a marketplace for artists to reach the buyers. She told me that Jane Goodall and several celebrities were endorsing the site and the amazing philosophy behind the business.  The site includes artists from around the world and features innovative, sustainable design in art, furniture, lighting, jewelry, apparel, accessories (including shoes) and collectibles.  I'm beyond proud to be one of the first few jewelry designers that has been added to the, still under construction, website. Here is a look at the necklaces I've handmade from vintage and recycled materials inspired by the movement to save the environment in our world. Eco1start.com is scheduled to launch, officially in October, but you can check out the few artists featured so far and check back for updates. I'll be adding more new designs before the launch as well, including cuff bracelets and earrings. New Fall Line by Brehan Todd at Narcisse

I am so excited to announce my new line of fall designs at Narcisse in Portland, Oregon! Narcisse, is a relatively new shop that I've blogged about in the past and is recently gaining a lot of attention for it's unique art direction. It's the only shop to carry the label, Noa Noa from Denmark and recently began stocking beautiful handmade corsets by Paloma Soledad. I happen to have the privilege of working with the lovely owners, Dawn Bush and Heidi Goldsmith, who have a talent for making you feel like your crawling into an old novel with a cup of tea and some cakes, on a rainy afternoon. I just love that feeling, so I was drawn to the shop one day and now, we have ourselves a soul mate connection, folks! We just really see eye to eye on what's cute and pretty and makes us feel like we are the heroine in our own movie, our life! If you haven't gone to the shops on Southwest Washinton, this one alone is worth the stop, but luckily there are lots of other charming businesses nearby. In the meanwhile, here are some of the new collection for Narcisse,

Ultra PDX Photoshoot

Hello readers! I was so excited when one of my favorite Portland Stylists, Elianna Barel recently swung by Narcisse to borrow one of my statement necklaces and some lovely garments. As always she did an amazing job styling this eerily romantic photos shoot with Seattle photographer Howard Petrella. Photos for Ultrapdx.

Boutique Tour - Narcisse, Porltand Oregon

I've decided since I've lived in Portland for almost a year and half, it's about time I explore all the fabulous boutiques we have and share my finds with you. One of the reason's I moved to Portland was for it's established independent business scene. I loathe box stores and chains and always try to support local whenever I can. Recently, I've been spending some time in my friend's shop, Narcisse. Nestled between several other lovely, independents shops, Covet, and Frances May; Narcisse is worth a special trip to Southwest Washington. Narcisse is owned and operated by two lovely ladies, Dawn and Heidi, who have this amazing look edited down to perfection. Lets take a look...
There are so many cute boots here, and other shoes available including these lovely knee high leather beauties. They will last forever and always be in style. I'm always looking for great, unique gifts that don't cost and arm and leg, and there are so many options here.
Don't even get me started on the clothes here! I could probably write a novel about the main line of clothing by Noa Noa, a company in Denmark that is full of all kinds of genius design. You can find anything to round out your wardrobe from casual wedding attire to denim.
In addition to the amazing clothing, accessories and jewelry (by Noa Noa and myself), you'll find lots of amazing vintage furniture, couches, beds, lamps, whatever Dawn and Heidi (the owners) find, is always in great shape and reasonably priced.
I covet these amazing vintage chandeliers hanging from the super high ceilings. This old chair has so much character and potential. I love it just the way it is.
This is one of my favorite silk blouses by Noa Noa, here it's paired with my Coney Island Statement Choker.
Victorian heirlooms are sprinkled about to compliment the vintage style of the clothing. Clothes hang on custom designed metal pipe racks.
As always, the windows are to die for.
Each month a special item is selected and featured. This beautiful silk dress is so comfortable and light.
Outfits are put together on mannequins throughout the shop so you can see how they look on.
Mary Janes in suede and soft leather are pretty and feminine.
The main colors are dark and shades of purple, amazing!
I could see my Mom or my best friend wearing this lovely ensemble to the market or traveling. Most of these lovely garments are either very well tailored or very figure flattering to fit a variety of shapes and sizes.
I am obbsessed with this skirt, with the stripes, bows and linen!
I recycled this vintage crochet collar by adding some ribbons, pearls and a locket. Unfortunately this one already sold to a lucky lady but I will be making these for fall as well, stay tuned.
The Narcisse Mascot, Sue sits in the back of the store, watching over the activity.
Lots of really unique vintage wall hangins decorate the walls. I love this porcelein scene.
Handmade shell and vintage trinket necklace by Brehan Todd for Narcisse.
Like me, Alice and Wonderland is a huge inspriation for Dawn and Hiedi.

If your not local, or just enjoy shopping at odd hours, comfortably at home in your underwear, like me, you can find it on the Narcisse website.
