An exciting new shop just opened downtown, in the West End District, at the Galleria. It's carefully a curated boutique by talented designers from the
Kenton Collective, a new design firm in town. With a name like
Boys Fort, you might feel like this is a men's store but it's oh so much more than that. This store is so much fun, I spent a loonnng time looking at all of the fabulous creations. The owner's joked that it's been coined as a "Manthropologie". I think it's much cooler and more original than that, but I can see the reference. The model is based on a classic artists collective, with modern ideas. It's awesome that the community has an outlet to so easily support local, innovative projects like this. It's one of the reasons I love living in Portland so much! Boys Fort carry's all sorts of cool locally designed products, including cuff links by me,
Brehan Todd, check it out!!!
