Boutique Tour - Narcisse, Porltand Oregon

I've decided since I've lived in Portland for almost a year and half, it's about time I explore all the fabulous boutiques we have and share my finds with you. One of the reason's I moved to Portland was for it's established independent business scene. I loathe box stores and chains and always try to support local whenever I can. Recently, I've been spending some time in my friend's shop, Narcisse. Nestled between several other lovely, independents shops, Covet, and Frances May; Narcisse is worth a special trip to Southwest Washington. Narcisse is owned and operated by two lovely ladies, Dawn and Heidi, who have this amazing look edited down to perfection. Lets take a look...
There are so many cute boots here, and other shoes available including these lovely knee high leather beauties. They will last forever and always be in style. I'm always looking for great, unique gifts that don't cost and arm and leg, and there are so many options here.
Don't even get me started on the clothes here! I could probably write a novel about the main line of clothing by Noa Noa, a company in Denmark that is full of all kinds of genius design. You can find anything to round out your wardrobe from casual wedding attire to denim.
In addition to the amazing clothing, accessories and jewelry (by Noa Noa and myself), you'll find lots of amazing vintage furniture, couches, beds, lamps, whatever Dawn and Heidi (the owners) find, is always in great shape and reasonably priced.
I covet these amazing vintage chandeliers hanging from the super high ceilings. This old chair has so much character and potential. I love it just the way it is.
This is one of my favorite silk blouses by Noa Noa, here it's paired with my Coney Island Statement Choker.
Victorian heirlooms are sprinkled about to compliment the vintage style of the clothing. Clothes hang on custom designed metal pipe racks.
As always, the windows are to die for.
Each month a special item is selected and featured. This beautiful silk dress is so comfortable and light.
Outfits are put together on mannequins throughout the shop so you can see how they look on.
Mary Janes in suede and soft leather are pretty and feminine.
The main colors are dark and shades of purple, amazing!
I could see my Mom or my best friend wearing this lovely ensemble to the market or traveling. Most of these lovely garments are either very well tailored or very figure flattering to fit a variety of shapes and sizes.
I am obbsessed with this skirt, with the stripes, bows and linen!
I recycled this vintage crochet collar by adding some ribbons, pearls and a locket. Unfortunately this one already sold to a lucky lady but I will be making these for fall as well, stay tuned.
The Narcisse Mascot, Sue sits in the back of the store, watching over the activity.
Lots of really unique vintage wall hangins decorate the walls. I love this porcelein scene.
Handmade shell and vintage trinket necklace by Brehan Todd for Narcisse.
Like me, Alice and Wonderland is a huge inspriation for Dawn and Hiedi.
